Back again this year will be a Family Division.  Moms and Dads...get off the sidelines and race the same course as the kids.  Who will be crowned the Triathlon Family of the Year?

Join us for the 2013 General Mills Kids & Family Triathlon benefitting Northwest Arkansas Aquatics, just one event of our SharkFest weekend.  This safe, fun event will once again take place in beautiful Memorial Park in the heart of Bentonville, Arkansas, and will include courses for kids 5 to 15 years old.

SharkFest  is pleased to offer a division in the Shark Triathlon Series.  The Shark “Super” Sprint will take place on Saturday, July 20 at the General Mills Kids and Family Triathlon in Bentonville, AR.  Distances will be 200 yard pool swim, 6.2 mile bike on closed streets and a 1.2 mile paved path run.  This is a non-competitive division open to novice athletes age 16 and over that want to give it a “tri” in the triathlon world.  Minimal training is required.  A great bridge to competing in the Shark Sprint Triathlon.

Health & Wellness Expo
A Health and Wellness Expo will take place on Friday, July 19th and Saturday July 20th during packet pick-up 4-7pm inside the Bentonville Parks and Recreation Downtown Activity Center.  For information on having a booth, contact the race director.

USA Triathlon has made several rules changes for competitive kids races.  A complete listing of the 2012 supplemental rules can be found at
